The only thing left is for you to take steps consistently in the direction of your destination. My coach emphasizes the importance of SSDA (single, specific daily actions). My company shines with the Daily 8 steps to success. And none of that means anything unless CONSISTENTLY APPLIED! It fascinates me how much time I spent resisting the obvious, despite hearing that it works, seeing it work and even experiencing it work in my life and business.
The truth is… a few simple steps repeated over and over again will bring you to your goals. That's the beauty and power of consistency.
Just any steps won't do. I remember hearing a leader say that when he's working his business the question foremost in mind is, "Will taking this action move me in the direction of success?" When you're clear about where you're headed it becomes easier to know what step to take next.
Whether you're planning a road trip or a trip through a store, if you have a specific destination there are two things you need to know:
Where you are? and where you want to end up?
Without those two pieces you may, eventually reach your destination but it's bound to take you a lot of time and money wandering around. With clarity about where you are and where you want to be you're in a great position to create a map.
The benefit of a map is that you not only know which direction to head in you also have an idea of which steps to take. The only thing left is for you to take steps consistently in the direction of your destination. It works that way in your network marketing business too. Your map may look something like the following:
- Training
- Build your list
- Make Contact
- Share a sample of product
- Follow Up
- Set up a new customer or business partner
- Personal Development
- Use Your Product
One single action in each of these specific areas each day you work your business will result in you successfully building a network marketing business.
The key is consistently taking the same steps and teaching your team to do the same!
