ALWAYS looking forward to the next great and wonderful thing.

Once day my father, Zig Ziglar, and I were talking about the short-term memory loss he suffered after he fell down the stairs in his home, and the fact that it seemed to be getting worse. He said, “You know, it is hard to think that all of this [his speaking career] is coming to an end, but when I consider what lies ahead of me I can’t help but be excited. Jesus said He was going ahead of me to prepare a place so wonderful, so magnificent, that the mind cannot fathom its grandeur. I’m really looking forward to that.”

I believe that was Dad’s secret to being happy and positive he is ALWAYS looking forward to the next great and wonderful thing. He was aware and certain of what lies ahead of him.
