BELIEF in NETWORK MARKETING
Beliefs, attitudes and human behavior are the three metaphorical legs of a stable business stool. When the figurative stool is stable we can trust to rest our lives and businesses on that strong base of support.
In our profession there also exists a three legged support for success. We must constantly study and reinforce our belief in the industry of network marketing, the company and products we are aligned with as well as a strong belief in self.
FIRST LEG OF THE STOOL
When asked the question, "Is this some MLM pyramid scheme ? " I am elated, as this is my favorite question to respond to and there follows from me, " what do you know about network marketing ?" Then wait for the usual responses patiently, and next respond in one of the following ways; " If you knew what I know about network marketing, I couldn't keep you out of it. For this business model represents the most recent step in the evolution of the free enterprise system recently endorsed by Richard Branson, one of the world's best entrepreneurs. Network marketing is the most moral way to do business, because the only way you can rise to the top of this pyramid (as opposed to the traditional corporate pyramid ), is to pull people up with you vs. trying to make others look inferior or step on them to bypass them on your journey " to the top".
That is at the heart of a cooperative economy vs. a competitive economy and a cooperative economy creates a bigger pie so we can all have more. The belief in change that we are a part of today can best be understood in the following quote:
"Change is the law of life and those who look only to the past or the present are certain to miss the future"-John F Kennedy
SECOND LEG OF THE STOOL
Researching and aligning your belief in your company and products is extremely important also. Take time to learn and research the company history, the company management and the company mission statement. What science supports the product efficacy ? With my current company, my wife Karen and I personally flew to meet the company president, CEO, and product formulators. Because we have considerable successful experience in the profession, we asked the demanding types of questions that would prompt those individuals to share their beliefs in the quality of their products, the company values, financial stability, mission statements and plans for future long term stability.
"Good timber does not grow with ease; the stronger the wind, the stronger the trees"-J. Marriott
If everything is " perfect", you are too late...... be prepared to help provide solutions for company improvement. After all, this business is unique in that it is a team effort and never falls into the category of " us against them".
THIRD LEG OF THE STOOL
Your business is only as good as you are. We are all human and being so, must constantly work to improve our self belief. Working on eliminating old paradigms (the thoughts and habits of others that were implanted into your subconscious mind) is an ongoing life long pursuit. Breaking through the terror barrier of old paradigms can be accomplished by studying with my good friend, Bob Proctor. Our posture changes when our belief in self is strong and stable...... and then, the universe will conspire in your favor.
"Believe that you will succeed. Believe it firmly, and you will then do what is necessary to bring success about"-Dale Carnegie
As humans, history has shown us that if we believe, we can achieve anything. What do you believe you can accomplish ?
