Your business and success is built with the idea and the vision, now go out and make it happen and enjoy the process! If you can see it and think it, it will happen! If you cannot imagine it, it will never happen. I’ve gone around the world and studied the most successful people, business moguls and investors and the one thing they have that is different from everyone else is a clear, concise vision. They know exactly where they want to be and what they want to do.
As you read and enjoy this article my clear concise goal for you is that you will have a clear concise vision for yourself, your business and your lifestyle.
Think about this: Here a simple question for you. When is a building built? When is it finished? Let’s say for instance an apartment building or a hotel-when is it done?
You might say it’s finished when the construction is done, or the codes are approved or people move in and use it. Perhaps it’s the day before people move in? Maybe it’s when it’s 80 Percent finished? But this is a simple question. What would your answer be? I believe the building is built when someone thinks about it, imagines it or plans it. You may say it’s when the building is actually built, but I would argue without the first thought about it, it would never happen. Think about this. When is your success complete? Is it when you reached a certain level or is it when you plan to reach that level? You may disagree but I believe it’s when you think of it, plan it or fully imagine it being done. Every super-successful person I know has a clear, concise vision of exactly where they want to be and how it will feel, look and sound when they’re there. Now, be very careful about your clear concise vision.
Example: Bruce Springsteen, the famous rocker whom I’ve I met said that he had a clear, concise vision when he was about 15 of being a big rock star and filling up stadiums. In 1975 he was one of the only people in the worlds to ever be featured the same week on the cover of Time and Newsweek magazine as the future of Rock’ n’ Roll. He was filling up stadiums but only making about $100 a week. He forgot to put in his clear vision how much money he wanted to make.
So be very careful and concise about exactly what you want to accomplish and how much money you want to make. And put a timeline for your vision. Most people will be much more successful when they are on a mission or some kind of cause than when it’s just money based.
For instance when you want to provide a quality service, help your community, create financial freedom for others or improve your neighborhood you will more than likely be much more successful than if you are just trying to chase dollars. Bill Gates wanted to change the computer industry. Carlos Slim wanted to bring communication to Latin and South America. If you can get your clear, concise vision consistent with a worthy cause or mission you more than likely will be much more fulfilled and make a lot more money. So, let me help you design your clear and concise vision: In 24 months from now exactly what will your business look like, what will you be doing, how much will you be making and how will you be helping others? What about 24 months from now, 5 years 10 years, 20 years?
If you can clearly and concisely know your vision and where you’re going and are willing to take the steps to implement it, than I believe your success is 100 percent complete.
Your business and success is built with the idea and the vision, now go out and make it happen and enjoy the process!
