So many of us fall in love with the idea of our own successful business but we stop there. How do we get started and finish first in our own business? Do you really know the reason WHY you want to be in business?
To finish first, you MUST know your WHY
Many of you have heard that you must find your WHY. Many new people getting into your business might not have heard this thing called your WHY. It's quite simple. To be successful in your business you will encounter many ups and downs. The ups are easy and enjoyable to experience. It's the downs that you will encounter where you will need that powerful reason, your WHY, that will get you through any obstacle that will stop most people from finishing first in their business. Finding your WHY, takes some intense soul searching. Your why isn't "I want to make more money" it's more like "I want to earn an extra $1,000 a month to send my daughter to private school." It might be, I want to get my business to a level of $20,000 per month so I can move to the Ocean Reef Condo on the ocean. Your WHY is specific, and something that will take YOUR breath away when you think about it. When your brother-in law ridicules you for the effort you are putting into your business, you can close your eyes as you picture dropping your daughter off at her new school that she is excelling in. As he mindlessly pokes fun at you, feel that warm ocean breeze hit you in the face while contemplating inviting him and your sister over for diner. Picture pulling up in their driveway honking your horn in your new Mercedes convertible, or what ever that WHY of yours is that takes your breath away.
Just make Your WHY specific and something that will take YOUR breath away, every time you think about it!
90% of success is showing up. Most people just think about the prospects of success. They ponder what it would be like to be successful.
Get up and get out!
That's right, get up and get out. Stop pondering and get into action. Nike says it best Just do it! Getting started is all about getting started, not just thinking about it! If you don't start you will not succeed. If you get out and meet with people, prospects, potential customers you'll have a 90% chance of succeeding. I think that's great odds, what do you think. Well get going. At night pull out your day timer and set appointments. The secret is the more appointments the more successful you'll be.
Stop guessing who will be the best appointment, just make them and then go on them.
Get out there and show your product and show your opportunity. The more you show the more you win. This is your life, it's not a dress rehearsal it's the real thing. Every minute you are in action will bring you closer to your dreams.
And then you will find every day is a dream!
Aim for your target, engage in the activities that you have determined that will allow you to hit your target, and then reach your goals and dreams and finish first in your life!
