At the turn of the century, social media came onto the scene. Soon after businesses embraced it. It didn’t take long for Network Marketing to embrace social media and replaced hotel meetings. Social media changed how we do network marketing today.

For network marketing companies and network marketers, social media expanded the reach that network marketing can increase the awareness of their products and services from a local business to a national and even an international business.

There are a large number of social media vehicles that are available today:

Facebook

YouTube

LinkedIn

X

Instagram

TikTok

...just to name a few!

To use social media effectively, DON’T use them all!

Get proficient with the platform that suits you, your business, and the prospects that you are wanting to attract. Monitor and manage your social media often. This requires time and attention and if you’re not going to do it, make sure you have someone who is proficient that will.

Use social media to locate perfect prospects for your unique products that solve specific problems or issues.

Join groups that can use your products and services.

Geographically locate prospects in areas you are looking to engage with.

Along with the good comes the bad. With all its benefits, the nature of social media presents a range of potentially great and troubling issues.

Those who use social media for good will reap the benefits!
