This simple exercise illustrates the diverse ways individuals perceive the world around them, much like in network marketing where each team member may interpret messages through their unique sensory filters.  Even though 2 people can speak the same language on the outside, by the time the words are processed by our brains they become pictures, sounds, smells, taste and feelings.

Visual (V):

For those who think in images, it’s crucial to paint a clear picture. Use vivid, colorful language and phrases like "The future looks bright" or "Envision our success," to capture their imagination and direct their focus.

Auditory (A):

Auditory members respond to what they can hear. When you speak, use rhythmic, memorable phrases such as "That sounds like a plan" or "It’s clear as a bell," to resonate with their auditory preference.

Kinesthetic (K):

For the kinesthetic folks who connect through touch and emotions, it’s about how things feel. Use expressions like "Grasp the opportunity" or "Move swiftly to achieve our goals," to engage their tactile senses.

Olfactory (O) and Gustatory (G):

Though less directly applicable in most business settings, don’t miss out on occasional references like "Smell the success" or "Savor the victory," which can evoke powerful sensory experiences and enrich your communication.

So the challenge as a leader of large groups of people, given that each one is an individual is to be able to communicate and have every listener have your communication resonate with them.  Listen to some of the great speakers of our time and listen for the metaphors they use.  You will notice they mix their VAKOG words and metaphors so everyone gets a shot.

Just as each person describes a race car differently, so too will your network marketing team members respond differently to various communication styles.

By adeptly using VAKOG in your discussions, you ensure your messages cater to all sensory preferences, increasing clarity and connection.
